As we wrap on the 2026 season, our thanks to everyone that helped us do what we do. Not always easy, but we had plenty of fun along the way. It is with immense sadness, Ben Rhydding Cricket Club announce the passing of former Club Chairman and President, Frank Taylor. Frank, who was a monumental figure within the Club, was enormously well respected and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, particularly within the local cricketing community. It is with great sadness that the club must advise of the passing of former 1XI Vice-Captain and BRCC President Barrie Somers. Barrie was instrumental in the club joining the Bradford League in 1987 and his tireless work laid the foundations for all who have followed since. Beyond his warm personality, spirit and commitment to whatever he put his hand to, Barrie was a sportsman of great talent, representing Yorkshire Second XI as well as representing North of England and York

Our 2026 Junior Winter Nets are confirmed as starting Saturday 28 th February! We have five weeks booked in at Ilkley Grammar School sports hall, with our regular professional coaching partners, Yorkshire Cricket Coaching, running sessions for all age groups. Come on down to dust off the skills, or have a taster of cricket, ahead of the summer!
