On a wet Saturday morning, ahead of the 1st XI home match against New Rover CC, family, friends and Club members gathered on the outfield, as we held a short ceremony to welcome the addition of the stunning Peter Bryett memorial bench to Coutances Way. Now into its fourth year, our traditional season eve quiz may have been pushed forward a week due to an early Easter, but with record numbers getting involved, it once again proved to be a great success. Alex miller once again hosted the event, walking those present through rounds which would have been familiar to viewers of Pointless, Question of Sport and Blockbusters, along with the crowd favourite “Famous Johns” section.
