Record numbers for Season Eve Quiz

Now into its fourth year, our traditional season eve quiz may have been pushed forward a week due to an early Easter, but with record numbers getting involved, it once again proved to be a great success.

Alex miller once again hosted the event, walking those present through rounds which would have been familiar to viewers of Pointless, Question of Sport and Blockbusters, along with the crowd favourite “Famous Johns” section. Along with regulars from the Senior, Women & Girls and Junior sections of the Cricket Club, it was great to see friends from the Sports Club getting involved too.

During a break in the questions, hot food was served, before the spoils were taken by ‘The Quizzy Rascals’, of Struan Connor, Henry Barrow, Katie McNamara, Oliver Musgrave, Hana Naoame, Michael Slater and Elkie Slater.

Many thanks to Alex for hosting, those wonderful folks who made the food enjoyed by all, and everyone who came along, to help raise £300 for the club.
