Inaugural BRCC Golf Day a big success

Organiser of the first BRCC Golf Event, Robin Snook, writes:

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a dry days golf at Bracken Ghyll

Golf Club. I would firstly like to thank all those who organised and entered teams

into the event, and particularly like to thank Wendi Bolton who produced an excellent

3 course meal for us all afterwards back at BRCC.

To the golf, there was some very average and also some very good scoring,

Commiserations to Oliver Musgrave’s “Happy Gilmours” whose 79 points was

eclipsed by Robbie Oldham’s “Part Timers” who were the worthy winners of the

Inaugural BRCC Hallas Golf Trophy with 81 points.

A lot of fun was had by all, thank you for playing, and please put the word about

for next year, when we hope to attract a lot more interest from members and

friends of the club to ensure that this becomes an annual event on the BRCC calendar.
