International stars at BRCC!

What a terrific day Friday was, as we welcomed Lashings World XI to Coutances Way. Just wonderfully surreal to have international players and childhood heroes playing at our small, family club. Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to making it happen, with particular thanks to Peter, Grossy, Sion, Dizz, Brent and Harry for a terrific pitch and making our ground look spectacular, (and to Dizz and Sion for scoring), to Michelle, Karen and their teams for serving all the drinks, Neil for manning the BBQ, to Mikey and Peter for umpiring, to all our sponsors, (particularly Clarion and Drive Finance), to Frank for kicking us off and supporting Blowers in the commentary box, and of course, to Robin, who drove the whole event. We couldn’t cut the photos of the day any further than this.
