Farewell to AWSCL...

And that… is that.

We bow out from Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League today in the most perfect way – a double win weekend, enjoying our cricket as ever, with Alex Miller winning the Div. 3 bowling averages, outgoing 2s skipper Charles Isherwood taking his first 5-for for the Club and 2s vice Charlie Hatton sneaking into the League batting averages.

Big thanks to Ilkley CC 2s who gave our 1s a guard of honour at the end of the match (Lovely touch), and New Rover CC 2s with their side of hugely talented juniors reminding us what we’re hoping to achieve in the years ahead.

We leave AWSCL having made many, many friends along the way and having created many terrific memories over the years. But were hugely looking forward to playing in Theakston Nidderdale Amateur Cricket League next season in our Centenary Year and all we hope it will bring.
