Square tucked up for winter!

With the season all done, the groundstaff have now tucked up the Countances Way square, ready for another hard winter. After another full season for the Club, the Groundstaff used all 13 tracks, preparing over 90 pitches to ensure our three senior teams, Women & Girls side and five junior teams had lively pitches for their home fixtures.

Many thanks to Harry Smallwood, for all his hard work on the square in his first season with the Club, along with Peter Taylor (Who has done one or two more years with us) and the rest of the dedicated Groundstaff.

And whilst we’re talking about the ‘unsung heroes’ of the Club, a massive thanks to the ‘Teas Team’ – Wendi Bolton, Jane Thoy et al, to our roster of Level 2 qualified coaches, including James Tate, after his first season heading up out U11s.

As ever, our biggest thanks should probably go to our sponsors, all of whom can be found here – We simply could not do all we do, without you.

We rest up over the close season, and go again hard for the 2016 season, bringing Cricket to all ages and abilities within our local community. Thanks to all who make it happen.
