The most unique T20 match of the season!

Fancy seeing the most unique T20 cricket match of the season? Come down to Countances Way on June 18th, to watch BRCC Vs ‘The Roosters’!

With an average age of 54, their squad may be approaching their cricketing twilight years, but with a number of their Club having played for the national team, and many others within the equivalent of county cricket over in the Netherlands, what they lack in youth they certainly make up for in experience! They also boast one PJ Bakker in their ranks, who played for Hampshire CCC in the late 80s and early 90s, where he was the County's leading wicket taker in the 1989 season.

Part of the larger sports club - Quick The Hague (www.quick.nl), The Roosters have travelled the world following the ICC Word Cup around the globe. However, this year they will be heading Ilkley way, playing a round of golf, enjoying some bowls, and of course, on the evening of Thursday June 18th, the highlight of their tour - A T20 match against BRCC!

The match will start at 6.00pm, with a BBQ and bar running throughout, with the mixture of food, drink and cricket keeping the non-playing members of the 30 strong touring party and the rest of the crowd entertained.

After the last ball has been bowled, we're off to Club sponsor, The Wheatley Arms for some food, a few drinks, and we're reliably informed - speeches, Roosters style!
