Your Club needs you!
BRCC has confirmed the details of this years’ ‘Cricket Force’ weekend. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March, players, supporters and friends of Ben Rhydding Cricket Club will come together to prepare the Countances Way ground and Clubhouse for the 2015 Season.
As ever, there’s a huge amount of work required to get the facilities, pitches and wider ground ready to host the ninety odd games for the coming Season. It’s hugely important that we come together as a Club to make this happen, with every hour given to the course making a difference.
There’s a detailed plan of jobs to do, including work on the sightscreens, scorebox, changing rooms and pitches. This is only possible with contributions from all aspects of the Club.
If you have an hour or two free, get down to the ground on the 28th and 29th to help get ready for what promises to be an exciting Season. There’s two ‘sessions’ – 9.00 – 12.15, then 1.00 – 4.00, with a lunch for all involved between the two, then a beer or two once we’re done in the early evening. Please, please, PLEASE come along – every moment that you muck in will help.
Please let Peter Taylor (firstname.lastname@example.org) know when you’ll be down in advance, so he can co-ordinate and plan the tasks.
Thanks in advance, and lets make it a great year for the Club – Come on the Rhydding!
