Call for umpires!

Love the game? Hung up your spikes? Why not consider becoming an umpire?

Those that are, will tell you that there is no better place to watch this great game of ours, than standing as an umpire. The Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League are hosting free of charge Umpires Training Courses, and are committed to growing their umpires pool for both Saturday and Sunday fixtures. There’s no commitment to umpire every week, and as well as receiving match fees and travel expenses, you get to watch the game at some of Yorkshire’s most stunning cricket grounds. (With one or two offering some pretty special teas, as well!)
