The 2nd XI season is up and running, following a comfortable win over Bardsey CC at Countances Way. Oliver Musgrave’s side batted first, finishing on 157 all out, with contributions from the skipper himself (36), Dom Grimes (39) and Luke Thompson, who hit 31 including two maximums.

In reply, using the match ball sponsored by Onyx Tiling, Rhydding skittled Bardsey for 48 all out, with both Andrew Jennings and Rob Withers finding their way onto the honours board, finishing with 5-22 of 10 and 5-18 off 9 respectively.

Well done to Oliver and his team, and we look forward to the short trip to Addingham next week!
