League 2015 Fixtures Announced

The 2015 Airedale & Wharfedale Senior League fixtures have been published. Following relegation in 2014 the 1stXI promotion campaign starts at home on Saturday 18th April against Green Lane. Perhaps the eye-catching game of week one however falls on the 2ndXI who start the season with the short trip to Olicanian. This will be the first 2nd Team game between the two local clubs for a while and will be eagerly anticipated by both clubs.

The final game of the 2015 season is on Saturday 12th September with the 1stXI at home to Harden with the 2ndXI travelling to Harden. A full fixture list for both teams will appear on the respective team pages in due course and the full league fixture list can be viewed on the league website here.

Men’s Cup Draw Provides Local Derby Teasers

The draw for the 2015 Waddilove and Birtwhistle Cups took place at the league AGM in November. Once again the club has avoided being pulled out of the hat in the Preliminary round. Our first round opponents on Sunday 17th May will be the winners of the Horsforth Hall Park –V- Alwoodley preliminary round match. The 1stXI will play away with the 2ndXI entertaining the winners.
