Square tucked up for winter!
With the season all done, the groundstaff have now tucked up the Countances Way square, ready for another hard winter. After another full season for the Club, the Groundstaff used all 13 tracks, preparing over 90 pitches to ensure our three senior teams, Women & Girls side and five junior teams had lively pitches for their home fixtures. Busy final weekend of 2015 season
A sad end to the season, as our 2nd XI lose at Harden, whilst Calverley win at Follifoot, which saw us fall into the relegation spots for the first time this year, meaning we’ll be playing in Division C next term. However, Oliver Musgrave should be immensely proud of his young squad, many of whom who have stepped up into senior cricket this season, and made key contributions in a number of matches. Penultimate Saturday delivers real promise
As a tough season draws to a close, a win for the 1s and a hugely encouraging performance by a youthful 2nd XI reminds us all what makes this Club great... The 1st XI took 19 points by easing to a comfortable win against Colton Institution CC, down at Countances Way.
